How it works
The laser sends light that is absorbed by pigment in the hair, converting to heat and damaging the follicle so it produces finer, sparser hair over time. Our device is a triple-wavelength diode, which means three depths of light can be blended for the hair thickness and skin tone in front of it. This is what makes it appropriate across Indian and darker skin, where older machines carried a burn risk. Only hairs in their active growth phase respond to any given session, and at any moment only part of your hair is in that phase. That is why a course is needed rather than one visit. Sessions gradually thin the area; after the main course, most people return once or twice a year for touch-ups as hormones and age nudge new hair into growth.
What a session feels like
A cool glide with a warm snapping sensation. The handpiece is chilled. Most patients find it very manageable; the upper lip and bikini are the most sensitive.

Aftercare
- No sun, steam, sauna, swimming or gym for 24–48 hours
- Sunscreen daily on exposed areas
- Shave between sessions, and never wax, thread or epilate, as this removes the target
- Cool compresses if the area feels warm
When this isn't suitable
- Pregnancy
- Active infection, cold sores or open lesions in the area
- Recent isotretinoin use, where a gap is usually required
- Photosensitising medication
- Tattoos in the treatment field are avoided
